LilyAudio at CanJam SoCal 2026: A Weekend of New Sound
Last weekend (August 29–30), LilyAudio set up shop at CanJam SoCal, and it was everything we hoped for. Hours of hands-on listening, honest feedback, and a chance to let people hear where we're headed next. Our favorite part? Meeting some of our customers and reviewers in person!
Genesis One, Front and Center
Our flagship, the Genesis One, anchored the booth all weekend. For attendees who'd only read about our CrystalCore™ piezoelectric driver technology, this was the chance to actually sit down, plug in, and hear what it's built to do. It's always a different experience hearing "technical depth" versus listening to it.
Introducing Genesis 1S
We also used CanJam to give the community its first listen to a new variant: the Genesis 1S. It shares the Genesis One's DNA but tunes things slightly differently. Drivers also sit 3mm closer to the ear, resulting in a more neutral sound signature. For listeners who loved the Genesis One's character but wanted a touch less coloration, the 1S is shaping up to be a compelling alternative. More details on availability are coming soon.
A First Look at Genesis Pure
The real surprise for a lot of attendees was our upcoming Genesis Pure prototype, on display for the first time. It's still early — Genesis Pure is headed to Kickstarter in the coming months — but the response at the booth gave us a lot of confidence in the direction we're taking.
If you got a listen and want to be first in line when the campaign goes live, you can add your name to our early interest list here: Genesis Pure Interest Form
Thanks, SoCal
CanJam shows are where our roadmap gets stress-tested by the people who matter most — the listeners. Thanks to everyone who stopped by, asked hard questions, and shared what they heard. We're taking all of it with us as we finish tuning Genesis 1S and get Genesis Pure ready for its Kickstarter debut.
Stay tuned for what's next.
