Genesis One: KS Update #14

03/15/2026

This post provides a quick update on what’s currently happening at Lily Audio.

Shipping
We shipped 10 Genesis One units today, bringing the total number of shipped units to around 30. Tracking numbers will be shared with you shortly.

Production
The parts shipped by sea finally arrived last Friday. Unfortunately, we discovered an unexpected quality issue with one of the components, as shown in the photo below. We have already asked our partner to fabricate replacement parts as quickly as possible, which should arrive in about 10 days. Shipping will resume once they arrive. We sincerely apologize for the delay and appreciate your understanding and patience.

Quality issue:

  • Sample on the right: Good one with smooth surface.

  • Sample on the left: Bad one with wavy surface.

Low-Pass Filter

We have been testing several ideas to reduce treble levels for listeners who prefer not to use EQ. These include dust filters with different densities and an electronic low-pass filter. While the dust filters work, our tests show that a simple low-pass filter built with resistors provides better results and greater flexibility.

The filter connects between the Genesis One headphones and the amplifier. It includes a four position switch for each channel, allowing users to conveniently select from seven preset levels of treble reduction, as shown in the photo below.

We plan to make this available as an optional accessory on our website soon.
