Genesis ONE design: A quick update (10/3/2025)
Over the past couple of weeks, we’ve been working on a new iteration of our design, incorporating valuable feedback from CanJam Socal and HiFiCon. We’d like to share a quick update with you.
We’ve increased the baffle curvature for a better fit, as shown in the photo. This adjustment also increases the driver angle and the distance between the driver and your ear, reducing the chance of your ear touching the driver cover for improved comfort. Acoustically, this change may add a touch of warmth to the sound as the driver sits slightly farther from your ears.
We’ve also introduced a magnet-attached earpad system, making pad swaps quicker and more convenient.
In addition, a few smaller refinements have been made: the headband and strap have been slightly reduced in size, and the frame hinge updated for smoother rotation.
Looking ahead, in the next few weeks we’ll be focusing on fine-tuning the sound signature of Genesis One, guided by the feedback we’ve received and ongoing research into preferred target curves in the literature. Stay tuned!
